Evaporative Cooling

Evaporative cooling for
factories and large areas

Evaporative systems work on the principle of water evaporation, providing far more economical cooling for factories, warehouses and large open areas than traditional air conditioning.

Why Evaporative?

Evaporative Cooling Advantages

Seven core advantages that stand out through unmatched energy efficiency and an eco-friendly design.

100% Fresh Air

Does not recirculate indoor air; 100% fresh air, 100% comfort and natural cooling.

80% Energy Savings

Consumes 80% less energy than classic refrigerant-based air conditioning.

Low Investment Cost

Up to 80% lower investment cost compared to traditional air conditioning.

Low Maintenance Cost

No compressor, no refrigerant — very low maintenance cost.

Eco-friendly

Uses no harmful refrigerants and emits no harmful gases.

Maintains Humidity Balance

Does not dry out the space like air conditioning; humidifies through air circulation.

Air Filtering

Filters bacteria, dust, pollen and smoke from outside air for cleaner indoor air.

FAQ

Evaporative Cooling Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is evaporative cooling?
Evaporative cooling is an energy-efficient cooling method that lowers ambient temperature through the evaporation of water. Compared to traditional air conditioning, it consumes much less energy.
2. How do evaporative cooling systems work?
In these systems, air is passed through water-soaked pads. The air takes the heat from the water, causing evaporation and cooling. The cooled air is blown into the space by fans.
3. Where is it used?
In factories, workshops, greenhouses, livestock facilities, outdoor venues, sports halls and warehouses — large areas that need ventilation.
4. Can it replace air conditioning?
It depends on climate conditions. In low-humidity areas it works very efficiently, while in high-humidity environments its effect may decrease.
5. What is the difference from air conditioning?
Evaporative cooling saves 80% energy compared to air conditioning. Air conditioning dries the air, while evaporative systems keep the humidity level balanced. Air conditioners use chemical refrigerant; evaporative systems work with only water and air.
6. How much energy does it use?
Far less than traditional air conditioning. A large evaporative cooler uses, on average, only 20–30% of the electricity of an ordinary air conditioner.
7. In which climates does it work more efficiently?
It performs best in dry, hot areas with low humidity. In high-humidity areas its effect decreases.
8. How is it maintained?
Water tanks and pads should be cleaned regularly. Make sure filters and air inlets are not clogged. Follow the maintenance intervals of the water pumps and fan motors.
9. Is it eco-friendly?
Yes. It uses no chemical refrigerant, emits no CO₂ and operates using only water and electricity. Its environmental impact is much lower than that of traditional air conditioning.
